YouTube Video DDEX Delivery
Last updated 7 months ago
This article addresses the delivery of a Premium Music Video with a YouTube feed. The processes described only apply to the YouTube feed (and not to YouTube Art Track or YouTube Content ID feeds).
Premium Music Videos can be delivered to YouTube via the ‘YouTube’ feed. For any validated video product, a YouTube-dedicated offer must be created:

There are 2 settings available:
Destination Channel (mandatory): the recipient YouTube channel of the video must be selected in the dropdown menu displayed.
Note: the Destination Channel dropdown menu is automatically populated with the names of the channels linked to the YouTube CMS connected to Labelcamp.Activate Content ID (optional): if switched on, a Monetize policy will be applied by YouTube’s video Content ID and video UGCs will be monetized.
Note: the Premium Music Video delivered via the YouTube feed will have a Monetize policy by default.

Publication of the video on the YouTube channel
The status of a Premium Music Video delivered via a YouTube feed depends on the release date set in the YouTube offer:
If the release date stands after the date of delivery, the status of the video will be set on Private once ingested by YouTube’s system. On the release date, the video will be published on the channel and its status changed to Public.
If the release date stands before the date of delivery, the status of the video will be set on Public and it will be instantaneously published on the recipient channel once ingested by YouTube’s system.
